Dr. Ato Essuman holds a PHD Degree in Education from the University of Sussex, UK, an MBA (Operations Management) from the University of Hawaii, and a BA degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He is a member of the British Association for International and Cooperative Education (BAICE), The American Management Association (AMA), the Ghana Institute of Management (GIM) and the International Industrial Relations Association (IIRA). He began his working career with Coopers and Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers) from1980 to 1984 and later joined Technoservre Incorporated as Business and Financial Advisor. He joined Nestle Ghana Limited in 1985 and served in many capacities in the management accounts, internal audit and human resource and public affairs departments. Between 1993 and 1996 he was seconded to the Nestle (International) Productivity Team as a Productivity Engineer where he carried out operations improvement projects, diagnostic reviews and rightsizing assignments in some Nestle companies around the globe. On two occasions he served in the Counsel of Sate to the presidents John Agyekum Kuffor and Pro. John Evans Atta Mills.
Millicent Awo Adae-Mensah is the Head, Sales & Marketing at TV3Before now, she was the Deputy Head, Sales & Marketing of TV3 Network Limited with over 14 years of experience in the media where she distinguished herself with exceptional work ethics and commitment to organizational objectives within a highly competitive and rapidly changing market place. Millicent is a tactical planner and an excellent negotiator. Her exploits included moving top brands handled by international advertising agencies into direct accounts, and growing those accounts into spending over a 100% of their agency budgets on the channel. She also coordinated the airing of Ghana’s First Oil in December 2010. Millicent is a product of Mawuli School, Ho Polytechnic (HND Marketing Option), Central University College (BSc Administration Marketing Option) and University of Ghana Business School (Executive MBA in Project Management).
Kwesi is the Managing Director for REAP Logistics, a renewable energy company, prior to this role he was the Co-founder and Group CEO of McOttley Holdings, he also served as the Financial Controller for UT Holdings group, for which he represented the company (UT) on the Board of SIFE Ghana. In 2007 he was the Chairman of England Mental Health (MH) Trusts Benchmarking Group, he has served on a number of committees for governance and quality both in Ghana and abroad. He is a Member of The Association of Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), The Chartered Global Management Accountants (AICPA-USA and CIMA-UK), MCMI and ICAG. He is also an investment banker certified by the Ghana Stock Exchange commission. He holds a Master’s degree in International Business from the University Of East London (UK), and a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Ghana Legon.
Akosua, is currently the Financial Controller of Donewell Life Company Limited. She is a Chartered Accountant with over eight years auditing and assurance services experience with KPMG. She has years of experience in audit of financial statements, review of internal controls, and financial statements preparation (both in IFRS and GAS) across various sectors including financial services, manufacturing, education and NGOs. Akosua holds a BA (Hons) Sociology and Political Science from the University of Ghana, Legon, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Prior to joining Unique, Gilbert was the Managing Director of McOttley Money Lending Limited. He had also been the Unit Head, Mass Retail banking at UT Bankedit manager, project officer etc. Starting his career as a Credit officer at Empretec Ghana Foundation, he joined Unique Trust Financial Services from a humble beginning as a Loan Monitoring Officer and rose through the ranks as a Project officer, Credit Manager and later to Relationship and Branch Manager. As a branch manager, he was selected as an initiative champion to be part of a nine member team appointed to restructure the bank (An IFC project). In his career at UT, he was also among the five Managers to have started and transformed the companies Loan Centers to a full bank during the transition of acquisition (UT take over BPI) and merger (UT financial service merges with the bank). He has a wealth of experience in SME lending and advisory, LPO financing, and retail banking. He believes in Order, Respect for all, Team work and integrity. Gilbert holds an MBA (General Management) from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, and Bsc Administration (Marketing Option) from the Central University College. He has a Professional Post Graduate in Marketing (CIM-UK III) and currently pursuing an MSc Programme in Financial Engineering at the University of Mines and Technology.
