The Impatiens Kilimanjari Foundation and the Ladies Trekking Club support 10 Maasai girls through school.
The Impatiens Kilimanjari (IK) Foundation and Ladies Trekking Club have taken under their wing 10 Maasai schoolgirls. This year such a thing happened that a schoolgirl who went to visit her family during a holiday was forced to marry by her father. In brief, the father needed 15 cows and the girl was used as a commodity for trade, so her studies were interrupted.
The Maasai girls have been able to study only thanks to the support from good sponsors who have made donations. In January 2015 the remaining 9 girls will start their third school year. Please help provide education to these Maasai girls. Their wish is to study, not to marry young.
The IK Foundation and Ladies Trekking Club support the school education of Maasai girls in Tanzania. This is a video about the 10 Maasai girls whose tuition fee was supported in 2013 and 2014. The school year will be over soon and they would like to continue their studies. Show your support by sharing this film about the girls:

The IK Foundation and the LTC are looking for motivated companies or private persons who would be willing to help 10 Maasai girls to continue their studies in the Mwedo School also in 2015.
Please contact the Impatiens Kilimanjari Foundation directly [email protected] for further information on how you can help support these girls.
To support this, in 2015 the LTC are hosting a trek to climb Mt Kilimanjaro and summit on March 8th for International Women’s Day. On this trip they will take a flag to the peak to promote the message "Everyone has the right to education“. You can read more about the flag project here and sign up for the flag 2015 here. The Marangu trek is open for everyone – men and women! Read more about the trip here.
The trek is led by Janika Vaikjärv, founder of Ladies Trekking Club.
